It was Tara's mother that caught my eye and I became friends with her breeder. When a lovely litter arrived I imported Tara
from Germany in December 2021. Tara is a stricking black and tan which is very scarce in the SA gene pool.
Her father being a chocolate meant she carried the chocolate gene. A chocolate STD Wire Haired had never been bred in SA.
From her first litter with Pablo I kept one male puppy, Tango. Colour genetic testing shows he too is compound heterozygote and carries chocolate."
